Swimming

Exercise or laze in our indoor heated swimming pool or sunbathe on the patio. The pool is 8mby 4m with gentle steps suitable for children or elderly bathers and is open and heated all year.

Walking or cycling holidays

Explore our woodland walk which is a 40 minute stroll through our ancient woodland and across the fields. Bring your wellies and see a wealth of wildlife and flora and fauna. There are quiet walks to explore from the farm and we are 10 minutes away from the Tarka Trail, ideal for walking or cycling. You can cycle from Torrington through Bideford, on to Barnstaple and along to Braunton beside the river and sea on a disused railway line.

Fishing

Enjoy fishing on our private lake, well stocked with carp, tench, rudd and perch.

Relaxing

Enjoy the peace and quiet in your own private cottage garden. Enjoy our organic pastures, pure air and see a wealth of wildlife or snuggle up in our comfy cottages beside the wood burner.

Historic houses including Tapeley Park, Hartland Abbey and Arlington Court. Exciting family attractions to enjoy - The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, The Wildlife and Dinosaur Park and Survival Paintball.

We are situated between the Moors, making it easy to explore the depths of Dartmoor or Exmoor and the pretty villages that are scattered around the area.

      Enjoying the sea

      We are ideally placed to reach the sea (25 minutes) to paddle or surf at Westward Ho! Visit the fantastic beaches at Croyde or Saunton or our favourite Putsborough Sands. Explore rocky coves or old fishing villages such as the world famous Clovelly. The beaches in North Devon are amongst the best in England and the area has been designated a UNESCO Biosphere reserve.
